Abandoned Kitten Found While Fishing
Jason Frost and Brandon were fishing on the Warrior River in Alabama when they saw something unbelievable. A tiny kitten was swimming toward their boat. Neither of them had ever seen anything like it. Then, a second, identical kitten appeared nearby. It was shocking to see two little cats swimming together. Jason said he thinks someone left the kittens by the river to get rid of them.
No houses were nearby, so it’s unlikely they jumped in on accident. The kittens seemed desperate for help. Jason took them home and later gave them to a family with two small children. These tiny cats made a brave swim to find safety. It’s a story nobody will forget—nothing like this has ever happened before.

Kitten Scampers Up to Man Meowing for Love While He is Fishing
A man was fishing at the lake when a tiny kitten ran up to him meowing loudly. She looked for love and attention, and who could resist that adorable face? Jason was surprised as the kitten trotted over, pawing at his bag and demanding cuddles. She crossed a busy highway and approached him like she knew she could trust him. Later, they found her sibling nearby, both abandoned and way too young to be alone. They couldn’t leave the kittens there, so they took them home.
The gray kitten quickly bonded with Jason, following him everywhere like a duckling. She snuggled into his arms and refused to let go. Her gratitude showed in her tiny efforts to be close. At home, she tolerated baths and showed signs of health improvement. Jason shared that she was eating well, using litter, and they had to carefully de-flea her. With no takers after a day, he and his wife decided to keep her. The kitten was cleaned up and happy, thanks to rescue and care. That day, Jason didn’t catch many fish, but he brought home a new friend.
Kitten Rescue Mission!! We found abandoned kittens while fishing!
We went fishing at a creek under a hidden bridge when we heard kittens meowing. They seemed to be about 4-5 weeks old and looked very thin. We ran across the creek and found the kittens climbing up a steep bank, trying to find help. There was no sign of a mother cat anywhere.
Since cougars and other big animals are common where we live, we knew we had to act fast. We decided to rescue them. We checked with the nearby house to see if anyone was missing kittens, but no one had lost any. We took the kittens home, gave them a bath, and fed them. Now, we’re looking for good families to adopt them. If you want to see more of these adorable kittens before they find homes, like this video.
Finding Cute Abandoned Kitten on Deserted Island While Fishing
While filming a catch-and-cook fishing show in South Florida, I didn’t expect to find a little black kitten on an abandoned island. We were catching snapper in Key Largo. After catching our fish, we headed to a small, deserted beach nearby. That’s when a tiny, sandy kitten appeared out of nowhere. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Was it abandoned? Was it the only cat on the island? Who would leave such a cute kitten alone here? Just joking about the catch and cook with the kitten! We aren’t eating this kitty.
Instead, I fed it some raw snapper, and the little guy loved it. He looked pretty hungry. Finding a kitten on an island wasn’t something I expected, but I’m glad it happened. We named him Captain Elliot Kitty. Now, he’s the new host of our catch-and-cook episodes. He’s no longer an abandoned kitten. Still, I plan to go back and let him explore more. He’s going to have a better life now. I love cats, and I couldn’t be happier to find this tiny survivor. Thanks for watching. Kittens Swim Up To Fisherman’s Boat Looking for Help
A fishing boat was out on the water when the crew noticed tiny kittens swimming toward them. The kittens looked lost and scared, clearly in need of help. They kept paddling closer, desperate for safety. The fishermen saw their small faces and tiny paws, realizing they had to act fast. The kittens appeared helpless but friendly, trusting the humans to save them.
It’s rare to see such brave little animals push through the water like that. These kittens found hope in a moment of need and were lucky the boat was nearby. Love animals? This story shows how sometimes animals really do seek out help when they’re in trouble.

How to help FOUND STRAY KITTENS?
There are between 60 million and 100 million stray cats outside in the US. It’s common to see litters of kittens on the street. If you find kittens that are dirty, thin, cold, or injured, the mother cat isn’t caring for them. Take them to a vet or call your local shelter for help. The vet will check for fleas, worms, and parasites, and tell you if they need vaccines. If their eyes are closed, they are younger than two weeks.
They will need bottle feeding if the mother doesn’t return within 8 to 12 hours. Some tiny kittens are too young for solid food and depend entirely on your care. Acting quickly can give them a better chance to survive and grow strong. If kittens are grouped together, their mom may come back and move them somewhere safe. She’ll usually put them in a shady spot where you can spot her returning.
Check that spot every few hours for at least 12 hours. If she doesn’t come back, you’ll need to bottle-feed them with kitten milk supplements. Local shelters or vets can teach you how to do this. If the kittens look healthy, can walk, and are eating food or nursing, plan to trap them. Get them spayed or neutered. You can release them back where you found them or ask a shelter to help find them homes. Share your experience below if you’ve found kittens before or have helpful tips for others.
